Cyber Alert

Late last December users all around the internet were experiencing ads that were opening via their default browser out of nowhere. 

 

After a deeper look, we discovered that it was coming from a long-time installed app, Barcode Scanner.

An app that has 10,000,000+ installs from Google Play!

​

Reports came out quickly and Google Play Store had it removed.

We highly recommend for all our Android users to check if the app actually exists on your personal mobile device.

​

If so, we recommend you to delete the application from all your android devices.
